Who is Menucha For?
Menucha works with Orthodox Jewish mothers in the London borough of Barnet presenting with mild to moderate Perinatal Mood Disorders (PMDs) from the beginning of pregnancy to 18 months post-partum.
Menucha supports these women by helping them access appropriate services, providing support and physical care to both them and their family.
The Menucha Care Pathway
Our strictly confidential Information & Referral line runs
Monday to Friday, allowing our trained call handlers to
sensitively capture case details.
Cases are rapidly reviewed by our clinical team who construct
the best support plan for each individual.
Each case is allocated to a Care Coordinators who acts as
an ongoing point of contact and who ensures that Menucha
provides the physical support and care needed to support the
whole family during recovery.
Menucha provides culturally appropriate in-house therapy
via our team of carefully selected therapists who have trained
and are specialising in Perinatal Mood Disorders (PMDs).
Menucha collaborates with external Perinatal Health Care
Providers and where necessary can refer and signpost cases
for additional help, all the while tracking and advocating for
What are the Menucha Services?
The Menucha Programme-
Menucha provides culturally appropriate in-house therapy by our team of carefully selected therapists who have trained and are specialising in Perinatal Mood Disorders (PMDs).
Tracking and Referral-
Menucha will collaborate with external Perinatal Health Care Providers. We will initiate referrals and signpost when necessary while maintaining a role of tracking and advocating your care.
Through the use of Care Coordinators Menucha is able to provide physical support and care in order to support the whole family during recovery.
