The Menucha
Helpline
4.
Menucha runs a strictly confidential helpline, after calling in, women answer some basic questions which helps us work out the best support for them. Menucha works alongside the Barnet Perinatal Services and can facilitate referrals for women choosing to go through the NHS. Women presenting severe symptoms or psychosis will be referred to the specialist team with Menucha playing a tracking and advocating role. If women choose to go through the Menucha route, they will be assessed and assigned to one of our specialised therapists in the therapeutic modality that best serves their symptoms. Women going through both routes
will be assigned a coordinator who will track and advocate for their care and set up any necessary physical support through our affiliate organisations.
